Mass in B Minor By J.S. Bach – Concert 9 March, 2014

Richard Eaton Singers (RES) with the Alberta Baroque Ensemble (ABE) at the Francis Winspear Centre for Music starting at 1930. Soloists are Jolaine Kerley, soprano; Jennifer Enns-Modolo, mezzo soprano; Derek Chester, tenor; and Michael Kurschat, bass.

We needed to be dressed and ready for 1915 to give us time to do a little warm up and preparation. The concert should last about 2 hours and will be followed by a reception afterwards in the rehearsal hall. We call it a Groaning Board – you know from that sound that a board makes when you put too much of a load on it, in this case from all the food we bring to these functions. We are also nicknamed the Richard Eating Singers!
Well the concert went well, my peeps in the audience say it sounded great. The groaning Board was full and fun especially reconnecting with some of our tour buddies.
