Sunday September 28 at 1430 as guests of ProCoro Canada celebrating Alberta Culture Days – “Everything Under the Sun” Winspear Centre – Path of Miracles by Joby Talbot an a cappella work based on the most enduring route of Catholic journeys – the great pilgrimage to Santiago di Compostela. This is a free concert but tickets must be requested through the Winspear box office in advance – this concert has been a full house in the last to years so don’t dilly dally if you want tickets!
Sunday November 2 at 1430 in McDougall Church, with the Alberta Baroque Ensemble and the Madrigal Singers – Schubert Mass in G and the Vivaldi Gloria. Assistant Conductor for RES Sara Brooks will be the conductor for this concert. 😉 Tickets from RES members and firstname.lastname@example.org
Friday December 5 & Saturday December 6 as guests of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra (ESO) “Handel’s Messiah”. Guest Conductor – Ragnar Bohlin, Mireille Asselin – soprano, Lauren Segal – mezzo soprano, Lawrence Wiliford – tenor, Cameron McPhail – baritone. Tickets available at the Winspear box office.
Friday December 12 as guests of the Royal Canadian Artillery Band for its annual Christmas Concert.
Friday April 10 & Saturday April 11, 2015 as guests of the ESO “Poulenc – Stabat Mater, Rachmaninoff – Three Russian Songs and Bartok – The Miraculous Mandarin”. Tickets available at the Winspear box office.
In May RES will conduct another recording session for a CD to be released in time for Christmas 2015 – watch out for future Christmas presents on the way!!
